My love for fitness started when I was 7, when I stepped onto a soccer field for the first time. My life would be dedicated to the world of competitive soccer for the next 17 years, and I experienced all of the highs and lows that come with sport. My senior year of collegiate soccer, my team and I went to the NCAA DII Finals, and lost 1-0. I have had six major surgeries throughout my athletic career, repairing my feet, ankles, femur and nose. Through my own injury recovery, passion for sport and subsequent passion for fitness; I’ve gained experience and interest in every aspect of the industry. My personal journey with fitness took me from sport to finding the next source of enjoyment for my active and interested spirit. I spent some time in competitive Powerlifting and Crossfit, and am currently enjoying a space occupied by balance, education, and helping others to grow. 

I am currently pursuing my graduate degree in Psychology, and look to bring an approach that meets the individual where they are and to facilitate their individual goals, whatever they may be. From high school athletes, prenatal and postpartum mothers, to those genuinely interested in moving better; I meet the person where they are and create a unique fitness plan to help achieve individual goals. I’m thrilled for the opportunity to bring my expertise and passion to Point Loma Sports Club, and I look forward to working with you! 

Qualifications:

  • NCAA Athlete: Soccer, Track and Field 
  • NASM Certified Personal Trainer 
  • PhD Candidate – Human Performance Psychology
